This brief guide describes how a UK Forced Marriage Protection Order (FMPO) can help someone facing or fleeing a forced marriage and explains the procedures for obtaining an FMPO.

In this webinar Anne-Marie provides an overview of forced marriage in the UK including statistics from the Forced Marriage Unit, as well as a dissection of the criminalization debate.  She also provides analysis of the issue of abandoned spouses as well as the utility and effectiveness of the UK forced marriage protection order.
