This report presents findings from interviews with service providers, advocates, students, and other groups on the topic of forced marriage in the United States and the forms of abuse witnessed as a result of this issue. The findings highlight numerous
challenges that victims, their support networks, and direct service providers face in responding and seeking remedies.

This webinar features Vidya Sri, founder of Gangashakti and Policy Fellow at Harvard University’s Carr Center for Human Rights, and Darakshan Raja. In this webinar Vidya and Darakshan discuss their recent research on forced marriage in the United States, with a special focus on the experiences of survivors in South Asian immigrant communities.
